Intelligent driving ADAS solution based on ST SPC58
Nowadays, smart driving ADAS has gradually entered everyone's life, and consumers will use the level of ADAS functions in the vehicle as an evaluation factor when purchasing a car. Among them, the intelligent driving ADAS domain controller plays a key role. It integrates the originally separate ECUs with each other to centralize more core functions, and can flexibly realize the configuration adjustment of the required functions according to customer requirements, facilitating the realization of platform and module Chemical production and manufacturing.
As the world's leading semiconductor company, STMicroelectronics has more than 30 years of experience and a rich product line in the field of automotive electronics. ST is committed to creating safe and reliable products and solutions for customers. For the high current power supply requirements and strict power-on sequences required by the high computing power SoC of ADAS domain controllers, ST provides a complete set of power management chip solutions to ensure the stability of system operation. Not only that, ST has also integrated its own MCU on the DEMO, and plans to add a series of ST's own product lines such as GNSS, IMU, and IMG Sensor in the future to comprehensively improve the functionality of domain control.
This DEMO uses a single forward-looking smart camera, which can be expanded to lightweight parking and parking integration, smart cockpit DMS/OMS and other application scenarios. This DEMO is based on ST's own product lines, such as MCU, SBC, PMIC and LDO chips, and cooperates with Horizon and Lierda to jointly develop this ADAS domain control solution. Its main features are as follows:
❖ One-stop peripheral chip solution
❖ ASIL-D automotive grade functional safety
❖ Better power supply performance
❖ Smaller voltage/current ripple
❖ Rich and comprehensive expandable interfaces
This solution captures road condition information through the front camera and transmits it to the SoC. The SoC then performs perception fusion and transmits the fused information to the MCU for path planning and vehicle control information sending to the CAN network to achieve intelligent driving (system The block diagram is as follows).
